Fear is important emotion without which we would simply not last long enough to reach any meaningful stages of personal/physical development in this dense physical reality. This emotion is one of several key emotions coded in our DNA for the purpose of our physical survival. Problems concerning this emotion arise when one doesn’t fully understand the purpose of this emotion, how it works and why it surfaces to one’s conscious awareness.
It’s primary role is to keep you safe and so whenever you are in a danger – it acts simplistically in two ways, depending on how you judge each life threatening situation; you may either choose to fight your way through it (if you think you stand a good chance for survival) or you can escape as quickly as you can.
The methodology with which emotions engage all parts of your being are related to their ability to control your endocrine system (hormonal glands), hence instruct it to replicate each specific emotion as a hormone in its own right. In this way, whatever emotions you feel at any moment are faithfully replicated in forms of hormones, which are then injected into your bloodstream. How you will react and with what intensity will depend on hormonal levels produced by your endocrine system, driven by your predominant emotional states.
It is for that reason that at all times, you must become super conscious of your thoughts and emotions, because excessive repetition of specific emotions will lead to their sub cellular chemical memorising and dependance. Further, depending on what hormones you habitually release into your bloodstream will either positively or negatively contribute toward your cognitive and/or emotional coherence. This means that when you dwell in positive thoughts and emotions, your endocrine system will release positive hormones and the final result will be positive thoughts, emotions and behaviours. The problem starts, when you engage into irrational thoughts and emotions and in those cases, your endocrine system will produce likewise “negative” chemicals, which will in time create numerous forms of mental dysfunctions of which irrational fears are the most common occurrence.
The main reason as to why this happens is because your sub conscious mind needs your couscous input in order to facilitate this rather unique biological programme and the fear is the tool it uses in this process. As stated above, fear is extremely useful tool when your physical life is in danger. And this is where its full usefulness ends, because it is an overly complex emotion for anything else. The main reason is that almost all non life threatening situations can be resolved in a much softer way, provided people develop the ability to recognise irrational fears early enough to be able to neutralise them and replace them with more appropriate cognitive strategies to deal with given situations.
Everything can be resolved calmly and in a controlled manner, provided you are able to control your own thoughts and emotions well enough. You will do this by teaching your body to be relaxed at all times – if possible. This is quite a task, particularly if you are not used to effectively relax your mind and body. But it is nevertheless the first step you must take toward healing yourself from harmful effects of irrational fears. So when you manage to eventually calm your mind and body, at some point you will intuitively start to feel what is going on from within you. Again, you will not be able to verbalise it any form, but that might be possible when you reach higher levels of self awareness. This is more advanced methodology and you should always aim to reach those highest goals at all times.
Mastering this skill will allow you to more skilfully control your mental composure, which is linked to effective control of your thoughts and emotions and when in such a state, it is very unlikely that you will ever experience “irrational fears”, because at all times you will have “exact feedback” of what is happening in your environment. This is self assurance that comes with clever acquisition of personal “power” to act in most congruent way and without fear. So when you:
- Become aware that you are fearful
- Then start carefully observing your internal and external environments by constantly checking your emotional states and whether they correctly reflect your external reality
In this way, you will be able to more effectively control sudden or unexpected irrational fear attacks. In essence, the word “irrational” implies that these types of fears do not bear any relevance to what is actually happening to you at any moment. The main reason as to why you periodically experience these “non sensical” emotions is because you have subjected your body to some highly aggressive emotional/mental stresses, earlier in your life. And if you have continued to experience these frightening emotions or similar situations, you have subconsciously embedded these “negative emotions” in your cellular structure. This is called “cellular memory”, which to the dot follows your most dominant emotions, which then affect your hormonal stability.
As such, subconsciously you will be forced to “experience” everything painted in the colours of these emotions, whether they are justified or not. When you condition yourself to see everything through the prism of fear, you will unfortunately experience that emotion more than any other, hence wording “irrational fear”. Because your conditioned body cells are “hooked” on to relevant “fear chemicals” and your subconscious mind will paint any situation “dangerous”, so to extract that “irrational fear” response from you. The main reason is that your conditioned body cells need those “fear hormones” in order to function “normally”. Simply put, the body is drug addict and hormones are the key chemicals that keep your body fully functional. It is therefore your duty to feed it with positive hormones by indulging yourself in positive thoughts and emotions and in return, you will experience positive outcomes in your life. When you become conscious of the fact that you’re experiencing excessive “irrational fears” when there is no valid external justification – you are best advised to follow steps outlined above.

One of the potent techniques that will help you alleviate this problem is “mindful breathing”. It is very useful technique, that allows you to effectively soothe your Beta brainwave activity and bring it down to more acceptable Alpha and in more advanced levels to Theta brainwave activity, which will start the process of normalising hormonal activity in your body. This needs to be complemented with some powerful mind and bio energy “cleaning” exercises, which will over time help you overwrite dependency on fear and stress hormones. As you continue along this path, you will not only clean your cells from non wanted fear and stress hormones, but at the same time you will also flood them with positive and empowering hormones, which will make a great deal of difference for you going forward in your life.
This will be the turning point in your healing process, which will mark the start of creation of longer lasting state of homeostasis in where you will overcome effects created by excessive dwelling in irrational fears.
